You are invited to apply for OurState if you are an emerging leader from across Arkansas who represents business, non-profit, government, law enforcement, faith, health care, news media or education.

Participants must be prepared to attend the entire workshop and to honestly share their own stories and explore their own biases. Participants should come with open minds and open hearts-willing to be challenged to create a more inclusive Arkansas.

Applying to attend does not guarantee a place in the workshop. Candidates will be selected to ensure a diverse class regarding race, gender, profession, and geographic location. Limited partial scholarships will be available based on established need.

To be eligible to attend OurState, a participant must complete an application, and mail it along with required attachments to JCCA, 1400 W. Markham, Ste. 405, Little Rock, AR 72201. Applications must be received by the close of business on Friday, May 11, 2007. Tuition must be paid by May 20, 2007.
